Berkeley Hills
Berkeley Hills is a safe, friendly community situated along the ridge on the northeast side of San Francisco Bay. Many parks, including Tilden Park, complete with a little farm, carousel, steam trains, botanical gardens, the historic Brazil Building and Lake Anza, as well as great hiking and picnic spots help to beautify Berkeley Hills.
The Tilden Park Golf Course is open daily, as well. Berkeley Hills is also home to the private, full-service Berkeley Hills Country Club (available for both social and golf memberships) which provides a friendly and relaxed, yet refined place to visit and have fun.
Hills residents are very family centered and somewhat isolated, although residents are only about a ten minute drive from amenities and activities located at the Hill’s base. Shopping can be found on Fourth Street and Solano Avenue, and the Bart station is only about an eight minute commute. Berkeley Hills is the location of the Annual Berkeley Hills Road Race, a Bay Area Woman’s Cycling Masters Series event for women over 35, as well.
